Don’t let weight loss run your life. Yes eat healthy. Yes workout. Don’t miss a chance at spending time with friends or having a relationship because you need to workout or you worry about eating out. It’s hard not to obsess sometimes but not obsessing can get you amazing things and to amazing places.

Fitness isn’t all or nothing. If you can’t workout for any reason, you can still drop another unhealthy habit. There’s no checklist that you have to have filled out before someone presents you with a “healthy” badge. You may not be able to be THE healthiest but you can be YOUR healthiest.
You know what’s really, powerfully sexy? A sense of humor. A taste for adventure. A healthy glow. Hips to grab on to. Openness. Confidence. Humility. Appetite. Intuition. … Smart-ass comebacks. Presence. A quick wit. Dirty jokes told by an innocent-looking lady. … A storyteller. A genius. A doctor. A new mother. A woman who realizes how beautiful she is.
i think the funniest and realist thing i’ve realized lately is how troubling idealization can be. every person is just… a person. the very people you want to impress or be apart of are just people. even if they seem wildly intimidating because of the way they look or because of their reputation, every one is just a person. human. as embarrassing, as remorseful and they are going through stages of growth just like you are. we only see what we want to see and then drown ourselves further in our own depression and we don’t have to.
